Fred Lab - Outreach Christian Church

FRED LAB SENIOR MINISTER

Fred was born and raised in Owosso, Michigan. Fred came to know Jesus personally in 1983 at the age of fourteen and was baptized at First Church of Christ in Owosso, Michigan by his mentor, Mark St.Louis.

After high school, Fred pursued his dream of playing college baseball at Great Lakes Christian College in Lansing, Michigan. While there, God changed his heart and his plan. God continually opened doors for him to serve teens through coaching varsity football, baseball and basketball. He graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Religious Education degree.

Fred responded to God’s call and entered into a life of Christian service. His ?rst ministry was in Edgerton, Ohio where he served as both Youth and Sr. Minister for six years. He credits that church, and is indebted to them, for giving him his start in full-time ministry.

While there, Fred met Mariah, the love of his life and the two were married. Shortly afterward He was asked to become the Senior Minister here at Outreach Christian Church. Fred and Mariah have served at Outreach since October 2002. They have three children: daughters, Yzabella and Reagan, and a son, Jedidiah.

Fred is passionate about building long lasting relationships that connect with Jesus Christ.

In his spare time Fred loves to play golf, tennis, and softball. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing. He is a huge fan of his Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Redwings and Detroit Tigers.
