What can I expect?

You can expect to be welcomed by friendly people that are sincerely glad you are here.  You will be in the company of people that take their relationships with God very serious but show it in a loving, non threatening way. You will find that you are not pressured into anything, rather encouraged to connect deeper.

 

What time does service start?

Currently On Summer Break but will be back in September: Deeper Hour AKA Bible Study starts at 9:30am – There’s something for the whole family! During this time we offer:
• Nursery for infant to 2 year olds
• OCC Kids classes for preschool to elementary ages
• OCC Youth Deeper Hour meets for middle through high school ages
• OCC Next Gen meets for college age to young adults
• Deeper Hour for all adults
Worship Service starts at 10:30am
 
There is a fellowship time in between from 10:10-10:30, where you’ll be able to:
• Grab some coffee & refreshments in our Café
• Get your children checked in for OCC Kids & Nursery at the entrance to our Youth Wing
• Have time to feel settled in as we worship our God together!

 

What do you offer for my kids?

We have a well staffed nursery, that is available during both Deeper Hour and the Worship service. Our OCC Kids ministry, for ages 3-5th grade, is offered during the message portion of our service. During  Deeper Hour AKA Bible Study, we offer classes for all ages, from preschool age up to high school and we have “OCC Next Gen” for our college age to early adults.

 

Where are you located?

Our address is: 7831 N Jordan Lake Road, Lake Odessa, MI 48846. Take I-96 to exit 64 and head south on Jordan Lake Road about 500 yards. You can’t miss us!
 

What do most people wear?

People dress very casually here, so feel free to wear shorts, jeans or sandals.  Rarely will you see someone dressed in a suit and tie, however, if that is your choice Sunday attire, then that is certainly welcome!
 

Do you have anything during the week?

Of course!
  • We have a small group ministry that we call Life Groups! They typically meet in homes or at OCC and are available on different nights of the week. We love getting new people plugged into a group!
      • If you are interested at all, please check out the Life Groups page of our website to find out more!
  • Our Ladies Bible Study meets at the church building on Thursday mornings, starting at 9am! (On Summer Break)
  • Men’s Ministry meets the first Monday of the Month in the Lobby from 6-8pm. (On Summer Break)
  • Women’s Gathering meets the third Monday of the Month in the Café from 7-8pm. Childcare is provided! (On Summer Break) 
  • Youth Group meets Sundays from 5-7pm here at the church during the fall-spring seasons but also has lots of activities throughout the summer!

What is the age range of the church?

You will find that we have people of all different ages and backgrounds! We have lots of families with kids who seem to connect well here, and we love that!
 

How can I give online?

We have a couple of options for you to give.
